Situated right in the middle of modernist Barcelona and comprised of two magnificent palaces dating to the 19th century, the Condes de Barcelona hotel allies the best of the past with the best of the present. Although facing Gaudi's famous building, "La Pedrera", this modernist hotel with avant garde decoration has nothing to envy. The magnificent "Casa Daurella" and "Casa Batlló" were renovated with maximum architectural rigour and are endowed with technology and modern comforts which have converted them into a single, first class hotel.
The Condes de Barcelona hotel has, among its five floors, 235 rooms and suites. Each room evokes tranquility, a reflection of their concern for absolute wellbeing. Completely acoustically insulated, well lit and decorated with refinement, they are the ultimate antidote for exhaustion.
Renowned chef Martín Berasategui, winner of three Michelín stars, will delight you with his cuisine in restaurants Lasarte and Loidi - the latter recently inaugurated - and will be charmed to help you with your possible banquets or wedding receptions. The Condes de Barcelona also has at your disposition various lounge areas, of which 11 are meeting rooms, nine polyvalent rooms (with capacity for up to eight persons), a large hall and terrace.
Location
Its location couldn't be better. Right on Passeig de Gràcia - an avenue renowned for its luxury boutiques - it rubs shoulders with one of Gaudí's greats, "La Pedrera". Other tourist attractions are not much more than 1 km away: the Plaça de Catalunya, The Rambla, the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral ... a tube and train station are only 100 metres from the Condes de Barcelona. Barcelona's international airport is 19 km away.
