Discovering the treasures of the Claris is like taking an extraordinary trip through time... The essence of Old Egypt and India combines with the splendor of the Roman Empire and colourful Turkish rugs. Hotel Claris, situated in the Eixample area, is one of the most famous in Barcelona. The exterior of the building belongs to the former Vedruna Palace and the interiors feature a mixture of design and exhibited pieces of art. The hotel has a museum where part of the private collection of the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona is on display and to which guests have free access. The Claris's terrace is a meeting place for Barcelona's high society; getting to know the treasures of the Claris is like embarking on an extraordinary journey through time. The rooms of the hotel are excellent, large, and have the services one would expect from the most exclusive hotel.
The rooms are decorated with one-off art pieces, indian sculptures, antique Napoleonic furniture and engravings. The top floor terraces has an impressive swimming pool with great views and a gym. The "East 47" is a very exclusive restaurant with very differentiated ambiences such as The Cocktail-Bar with its special musical environment from the own collection for a taste of the Seventies. The restaurant connects the art and the brilliance of Andy Warhol with gastronomy and music, to the flavours of sushi, fresh caviar...
Location
The Claris hotel is the reference for luxury hotels in the center of Barcelona. Its splendid location makes it possible to go to the Paseo de Gracia, to the Plaza Catalunya and to Avenida Diagonal in a few minutes; also ideally placed for professional assignments.
