Hotel description

The Hotel Casa Capitel is an ancient Renaissance palace built in 1503 and located in the picturesque area of the Albaicin, in front of the Alhambra in Granada and in the city centre, close to the cathedral. It is a palace with lintels and Tuscan columns, Corinth capitals, Arabic chromium-plated beams. The Renaissance decorated wooden ceiling and two Roman columns characterize this charming building.

The renovation of the hotel has been carried out looking for the original materials to preserve the atmosphere of the XVIth century. Features include a breakfast room, an exhibition gallery, living room, massage service, meeting room and television and Internet connection in all bedrooms.

Location

The Hotel Casa Capitel is situated in the quarter of Albayzín, right in the city center. UNESCO declared this area as a World Heritage Site. You will find the Alhambra (20 minutes walking) and the main monuments close to the hotel.
