The hotel faithfully follows in the footsteps of its emblematic surroundings. Set in an old building dating from the modernist period, it has been completely reformed by the Xavier Claramunt studio of architecture and interior design and transformed into a small boutique hotel decorated in an elegant, modern style and provided with the best equipment and technology.

Hotel BCN Design has 75 spacious, light bedrooms designed to ensure the utmost well-being of guests. Rooms feature a striking modern design and layout. The bathroom includes a free standing tub and is incorporated into the corner of the open-plan bedroom, both convenient and aesthetically pleasing. Discreet lighting highlights the room's artwork and surfaces, such as a pale wood floor, and plenty of seating space is also provided. The hotel also offers a gymnasium, Jacuzzi and a bar. The Eurostars BCN Design Bar offers a wide range of tapas for sampling and a special selection of wines and cavas, all of which guests can relish in the spacious lounge overlooking the Passeig de Gràcia, or on the terrace adjoining the cafeteria. "I liked everything about the hotel except its interior design which i felt was overdesigned to the point that there was no room even at the washstand to put a bar of soap and because the toilet door opened to the inside of the cubicle you had to step to the side of the toilet to exit - small but typical examples of form triumphing over function and in the end very bad design - i wouldnt return but splendia itself does an excellent job and your reviews will help it became even more useful as a travel accommodation website"

"The hotel is very nice, big and with a great location. Next to the centre, to casa batlo, la pedrera, bus stop and metro station. The bed is very confortable and the rooms are sound proof The TV needs more internacional channels. The room should have some kind of suport for the "toillete things"."
