Hotel description

A sublime reflection of Parisian elegance and romanticism, the Hotel Balzac opens its doors again with even more splendour and grandeur after having recently received a significant series of renovations. This luxurious Haussmann style establishment, with all its majesty and ambition, has transformed itself into one of the most distinguished and extraordinary hotels in the beauteous French capital. Its interiors perpetuate over two centuries of history and anecdotes, and uphold the memory of the works and characters of the famous writer Honoré de Balzac.

The sumptuous neoclassic decoration that both the rooms and suites exhibit, as well as the common areas, bear a new and modern appearance in three different chromatic combinations; gold and chocolate, raspberry and prune, turquoise and vanilla. Stately furnishings, lavish fabrics and modern, high technology accessories, embellish the prevailing warmth and refinement of the ambiance. The heart of the hotel is adorned with a gleaming light that radiates the marvellous stained-glass window, while in the warm hall, Lounge Bar services are provided all in an ambiance caressed with sensuality. A personalised service with a butler that will accompany you and attend every detail and request.

Location

True to its name, the Hotel Balzac is found on the rue Balzac, surrounded by an astonishingly tranquil atmosphere, not too far off of the world famous, pedestrian filled Avenue des Champs-Élysées. A mere fifty metres separate the hotel from the latter. The hotel airport transfer service is counted per transfer.

"We loved the hotel and they were extremely accomodating and friendly upon arrival. They fulfilled my request for a view of the Eiffel Tower and were happy to do so. The only complaint I have is that their breakfast was way overpriced, 28 euros per person for coffee orange juice and some pastries. The only problem was that our flight was leaving early the next morning and they said they could arrange for two croissants and coffee to be sent to our room since the breakfast is not out downstairs until 7:00 am and we were to leave at 6:30 am. They did not tell us the price and only at bill time did we see that it was 58 euros!"
