Without forgetting its architecture and design: the Axel Hotel Barcelona was constructed in a remodelled building from the end of the 19th century, conserving its fade and its spectacular acid-etched windows from the first modernist period. Its interior spaces, totally restored, were conceived such that design and comfort are united in a warm atmosphere. Furnishings from Vitra, Kartell and Swan, fabrics from Kenzo, the Axel mosaic and the lighted photograph boxes by Emilio Lekuona shape the exclusive Axel universe.
