Hotel description

Located in the elegant Eixample neighbourhood, the recently inaugurated Aranea is situated in a newly constructed building of modern 21st century design. It opened its doors in 2003, on a typical beveled corner in one of the most distinguished areas in Barcelona, between Consell de Cent and Nàpols.

The Aranea features 84 rooms distributed on 7 floors. They are characterised by their abundance of natural light - in the bedrooms as well as the bathrooms - due to their large double-glazed windows. Decorated with care and equipped with all the contemporary comforts (parquet, shades of brown ...), the exterior rooms offer views of the street, and the quieter, interior-facing rooms offer views of the courtyard.
The property also disposes of a solarium and a terrace (open only in the summer), two conference rooms, a business centre ("Espai Apsis"), a bar and a breakfast buffet. The reception will facilitate bicycle rentals.

Location

Enjoys an ideal location in a centric neighbourhood. The city's main monuments are in the vicinity, easily accessible by foot: the emblematic Sagrada Familia (100 m), the distinguished shopping area of the Paseo de Gracia (1000 m), and the famous Plaza de Cataluña (1,200 m) ... The "Tetuan" (line 2) station is 200 metres away.

"L'hôtel est est très agréable et les chambres sont très propres. Un seul petit problème, c'est l'isolation sonore. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, mais comme il y a peu de chambres à chaque étage, le dérangement est de très courte durée. L'hôtel est situé à 5mn à pied de la Sagrada Familia. Pour les reste des visites touristiques, il faut prendre le métro qui est un peu loin (5 bonnes minutes à pied). C'est le seul inconvénient. Autrement très bon rapport qualité prix. Le petit bar/restaurant qui se trouve sur la place à gauche en sortant de l'hôtel est très peu cher et les gens très acceuillants. Un bon moyen de dîner pas cher si on ne veut ressortir en centre ville."

"Hotel in einem schönen Viertel mit herrlichen Häusern, unweit des Zentrums, gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Personal am Empfang kurz angebunden. Zimmer hellhörig und mit lauter Lüftung aber sauber und modern. Hotel besticht durch super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück kann man in einem der zahlreichen Bäcker und Cafés um die Ecke einnehmen."
