This rustic little hotel with a good restaurant is hidden away in the laid-back mountain village of Benahavis and its nine rooms are uniquely decorated in different exotic themes. Benahavis itself is situated between Marbella and Ronda, just seven kilometres from the coast, and is often called the dining room of the Costa del Sol because of its excellent restaurants, one of which - voted one of the "Top Ten Restaurants of Andalucia" you will find at the Hotel Amanhavis.
The hotel has 9 imaginatively decorated rooms, all rustically decorated with white-washed walls, terracotta tiles, quality tapestries and antique objects corresponding to the room's theme, which takes you back to a specific period in Spain's social history. At the hotel's restaurant you can try an appetizing selection of Andalusian cuisine with a creative touch. The hotel has a lovely pool and lies just a short drive away from the beaches of Costa del Sol. This is also a great base for a golf or active holiday, there are 7 golf courses in the local area, you can go for long treks in the valley, explore the village itself (27 restaurants, numerous bodegas and bars...) or try horseriding.
Location
Apart from being on the doorstep from the super yachts and sailing boats of the rich and famous on Puerto Banús, Hotel Amanhavis is a gateway to a rich and varied Andalusian getaway. Here, you are literally on the way to Ronda, a famous Moorish and picturesque town with the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain. No other region in Europe has as many golf courses, and the hotel will organise a game for you based on your handicap and preferences.
