Hacienda De San Rafael

Formerly part of a thriving olive estate, the Hacienda has been restored and converted into a privately-owned hideaway, striking a balance between rustic charm and modern sophistication. This eighteenth-century hacienda is half-way between the historic cities of Seville and Jerez. To the East lie the white villages alongside the Sierras of Grazalema and to the West Coto Doñana National Park. This beautiful hacienda is the ideal starting point for outings and visits as well as a great place to hold events of all types.

The eleven duplex rooms are situated around a bougainvillea-filled courtyard. Each room has a unique veranda which is perfect for enjoying a continental breakfast in the morning. The interior décor bears the signature of the designer Kuky Mora-Figueroa, who used the Hacienda's farm elements as decoration, combined with antiques and sumptuous fabrics to confer a highly distinctive ambience. The Hacienda has a scented private garden with a small 'chozitas' or huts for relaxing on day beds and three swimming pools.
In the restaurant the meals are usually served al fresco when the weather allows it. The cuisine embraces a large variety of Mediterranean dishes. The chef produces an outstanding selection of recipes with an emphasis on local seasonal produce. For meetings or private celebrations there's a bright 150-square-metre room that is functionally decked out.

The Hacienda is situated 40 minutes from Jerez de la Frontera and 30 minutes from Seville, near the town of Las Cabezas de San Juan. The beautiful natural setting offers many leisure possibilities, which guests can inform themselves on and arrange before arrival with the professional concierge service. Outings, visits, maps, directions of restaurants and shops are easily reached.
