Stepping into the Hotel is like travelling back in time and exploring history firsthand. This famous Renaissance Castle House at the Golden Well dates back from the 16th century. It once belonged to the Emperor Rudolf II and served as the residence of the legendary Astronomer Tycho de Brahe. It has been lovingly restored into a splendid hotel, keeping intact, wherever possible, the original features.
The hotel includes continental buffet breakfast, highspeed Wi-Fi internet zone, a club lounge with complimentary refreshments, a welcome drink and refreshing mint towels upon arrival, luggage unpacking & packing service, welcome fruit plate upon arrival, valet parking, evening turndown service with good-night amenities, concierge with DVD library, shoeshine service, pillow & bedding menu, morning newspaper delivery, wake up call with tea / coffee and from 7 am served with fresh baked pastries, laundry and dry-cleaning service (free of charge for children up to 3 years old) and a luggage room.

The Golden Well Hotel is located below the walls of the Prague Castle and surrounded by the Castle rose gardens in the quaint Mala Strana or the "Little Quarter" of Prague. Close to the Prague Castle and the Czech Parliament we are just a short walk away from some of Prague´s most impressive sights, including the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, the Royal Gardens, the St. Nicholas Church and the Old Town Square. Guests of The Golden Well Hotel are privileged in the summer months to use the Emperor´s private entrance that leads directly to the gardens of the Prague Castle.
