The Fairmont Monte Carlo, one of the largest hotels in Europe, sits on the waterfront in one of the most exclusive locations in the world. This grand hotel was originally and daringly constructed in 1977 with its foundations stuck in the seabed, making it resemble a small island unto itself. It was acquired by Fairmont in 1998 and reformed to high modern standards and given an irresistible nautical theme. It�s worth staying in this hotel, however, for the uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and coastline alone.

All rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated and come with a private terrace overlooking either the Mediterranean, the flower gardens or the city of Monte Carlo.
