Built between 1906 and 1908 by the architect Jean-Albert Hébrard, the silhouette of the Hotel Royal can be likened to a fan, a feature that enables it to blend perfectly into its setting at the heart of magnificent 19-hectare grounds. The architecture is inspired by Baroque traditions evident in the vaulted ceilings, domes and rotundas. Semi-circular balconies and the detailed structure contrast with the simplicity of the façade.
