The Empire Palace Hotel is a regal and elegantly decorated resting place, tucked away in a quiet street, just moments from the Borghese Gardens and Via Veneto. Formerly a grand home of Venetian nobility, the striking neo-gothic building holds intricate and tasteful interiors with a modern art collection distributed around the hotel. Other noteworthy features include a striking night-sky ceiling in the lobby, an inlaid coloured marble floor in the hall and a 16th century fountain in the picturesque courtyard, all conspiring to create an authentic period atmosphere.
Accommodation at the Empire Palace Hotel is comfortable and well furnished- with plenty of attention to detail, period architecture and classic touches. Other areas of the hotel are no less well dressed, with Murano glass chandeliers complementing the elegant restaurant, a very stylish piano bar with live music, the Blue Bar. "1. The room was VERY small. 2. The hotel is a bit far away from main tourist attractions. 3. No wi-fi in the rooms. 4. Breakfast food selection was pretty poor as well It was noisy but I believe it is hard to find a hotel in Rome which would be in the downtown without noise from the street at the same time."
