The newly inaugurated EME Catedral Hotel, facing the stunning Giralda, is a surprising and inspiring work of art which espouses a new concept of accessible luxury. Eme is located in the city centre within a few metres of the Cathedral of Seville. Its design is clearly influenced by the Mosque-like architecture of the Giralda – a sinewy motif which seems to be a homage to the extraordinary craftsmen who built traditional minarets is present throughout the hotel – and spaces such as the unconventional and postmodern lobby display somber Catholic motifs, reminding us of the coexistence of Arab and Christian civilizations that characterises Andalusia. EME fusion hotel is a different hotel, created to host its visitors in a very special modern and design atmosphere.

Luxury is redefined in the rooms which are wonders of simplicity with their bare walls in natural earth tones and elegant furniture. Again, the hotelï¿½s signature design appears in the tasteful bathroom and at the head of the bed. No EME experience is similar to another because there are no two rooms alike. "Because Hotel Eme had only been open one montb, check in seemed a little chaotic, but the staff was very friendly and that generally made up for the "frazzled" factor. Our room, a Jr. Suite, had a bath but no shower, which seemed a little odd considering the cost of the room. However, the staff very graciously moved us to another room with a bath and shower. Overall, we loved Hotel Eme, the staff and the atmosphere."
