• The delightful village of Murviel-les-Béziers is some twelve miles from the Mediterranean coast, surrounded by Languedoc vineyards. A mile from the centre of the village lies a classified national monument: the 17th century Château Saint Martin des Champs. This magnificent building, recently restored and renovated by Aernoud and Claudine Lippmann, has been transformed into a luxurious hotel and restaurant.

• The bedrooms and the lift recreate and epochal atmosphere. The vast bedrooms all have modern, very comfortable bathrooms. The gourmet restaurant "La Grappe d'Or" has a superb panoramic view of the shady garden. Whenever the weather is warm enough, lunch and dinner are served out-of-doors. In the evening, the gardens are subtly lit, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. It has a number of menus to suit all pockets. There are also exciting à la carte regional dishes and other specialities. In partnership with the magnificent 18-hole Saint Thomas' Golf Course, as well as the golf of Lamalou-les Bains on the outskirts of Béziers they have organised a variety of inclusive hotel-golfing holidays. Whether you are a registered FFG player, an experienced, unregistered golfer, or a beginner, you are more than welcome to our golf links.

• On the Saint Thomas' links, you can book individual or group lessons. Other options are available for golf syndicates. But also, tennis at 2 km, the sea located at 25 km and you can walk to the Canal du Midi situated at 15 km at the hotel.
