• Right by Tours, ideally located in the heart of the Val de Loire, the Château de Reignac invites you to take part in the relaxed rhythm of the XVIIIth century French aristocracy lifestyle. From the Fortress Castle to the Gothic decor, during its line of history this Castle evolved acquiring quite a reputation. Today there remains the two big cylindrical towers framing the western facade as well as the guardroom dating from the XVth century. In the castle and along the paths of the park, near the Chapel, the presence of illustrious persons past still haunt the wings where they stayed, most notably the Marquis de Lafayette and his wife. The decor and the chosen pieces of period furniture aim at recreating the atmosphere most familiar to these great names in history, while insuring the hosts of the Castle all the comfort of a luxury hotel.

• Today, it was a former advertising agent who decorated the Castle, this time giving great attention to the guest house room's personalized reception . The Château de Reignac has been the object of a complete wall to wall restoration, which made it possible to unearth the once forgotten forms of the XVIIIth century, and to honour its past hosts by attributing their respective names to rooms and lounges. Sheltered under high ceilings, the varied rooms face the courtyard and the peaceful village, or even towards the magnificent cedars of the park. The luxurious decor, and the motifs played up in jglorious colour, ally pieces of period furniture, bedding of American class and sumptuous bathrooms.

• The new owner takes care of the living areas: the charming rooms, the bar lit in warm and dark tones, the library (making evident the owner's Egyptophilia), large lounges where surprising two-toned armchairs echo the pistachio walls, and a music lounge offering all modern comforts, upkeeping " the spirit of place " a top priority. Every evening, the hotel draws up a unique and quality menu, accompanied by wine bottles of the famous Tourraine region. You will dine the refined and old-fashioned way in a former guardroom, where plate warmers are still integrated into the radiators. Be carefull: diners in the castle are organized only on booking.
