• A delightful guesthouse in the centre of Madrid whose owner-decorator Marta Medina has filled seven rooms with antique furniture, sculptures and paintings she collected during her travels. The apartment is discreetly situated on the second floor of a corner building overlooking a leafy square and its many balconies face Madrid's Royal Opera House. A world apart from impersonal hotels, Casa de Madrid's historical and sometimes flamboyant theme decoration and old-fashioned comfort are a rarity in this day and age.

• Casa de Madrid contains 6 rooms and one suite with a large living room and small dining room, all stretched along a long corridor. Each room is decorated in a different style, inspired in the owner's travels around the world and a different experience is provided by each. All of them have full bathroom, TV, DVD, and even a jacuzzi in the Greek room. The Indian room has a king size bed and two balconies. The Spanish room has a fireplace, balcony and beautiful paintings from 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The Blue room has two balconies, one in the bedroom and another in the beautiful bathroom.
