Hotel description
A 16th century village nestled deep in the forest of northern Tuscany, fully renovated and converted into a rustic atmospheric resort, the Borgo Giusto is truly unique. The ‘village’ is comprised of 24 dwellings with original stone walls, porticoes and brick loggias. These houses are connected by cobbled alleyways and little squares, just like it used to be, whilest on the inside the houses are renovated and firmly up to date.
Whilst the village itself may feel like stepping back in time, on the inside the dwellings of the Borgo Giusto comfort is of utmost importance. All suites and cottages feature modern amenities like heating, air conditioning and internet connections. The resort commands stunning natural scenery, being surrounded by ancient forest, and within easy reach you can find medieval villages, churches and museums. There are of course many outdoor pursuits to be had in the area like hiking, as well as a rich variety of good food and wine to sample. The hotel also has its own facilities; pool, Jacuzzi, tennis courts, horses and massage service.
Location
The nearest town to Borgo Giusto is Lucca, a short drive away. Pisa airport is 28 km away.

"We liked the hotel very much, but we were of the impression that it was a hotel, and found that there were no towels for the pool and the chnage of linen and bed sheets onece a week is insufficient. However, the management was EXCELENT!!! We will consider this hotel again for our next trip to this area. Best regards Erik"
