Artus Apartments Berlin is ideally situated on Kantstrasse, a brief ten minutes walk from Berlinï¿½s main shopping boulevard, Kurfürstendamm, and likewise a short distance from the Technical University of Berlin and Tiergarten park. The modern hotel building features a stylish lobby where bilingual staff at the reception desk are available for queries about the city and for dealing with requests. The apartments –extremely convenient for longer stays and for the growing number of travellers who prefer the independence that an apartment provides when staying in cities– have all been recently refurbished and contain fully-equipped kitchens. Opening hours of the office: Monday- Friday 09.00 - 17.00 Uhr | Saturday and Sunday 09.00 -14.00 Uhr. For late arrivials, beyond these opening hours, please arrange the keys transfer directly with the apartment house.

All apartments are equipped with a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, towel-warming radiator and make-up mirror. They also have a safe and television and telephone as well as high-speed internet in the majority of apartments. Furthermore, fully-furnished kitchens include a microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle as well as cutlery and dishes for four people. Artus Apartments’ additional services are its laundry service, and beds which can be provided for extra guests. Parking is available for €8 a day, or €100 a month in the underground garage. Finally, the high speed Internet connection is available in the public areas for €0.50 a day and faxes can be sent and printed at reception.

Location

Artus Apartments are optimally situated in the centre of Berlin’s City-West, 2.4 kilometres east of Berlin Messe-ICC Convention Centre. Tegel airport is just 20 minutes away by car; Bahnhof Zoo railway station is a mere 10 minutes walk. Guests arriving by U-Bahn should get off at Wilmersdorfer Strasse, and the nearest S-Bahn station is Savignyplatz; both of these stations exit onto Kantstrasse. Finally, the hotel is served by the 101 or M49 bus–stopping at the corner of Kantstrasse with Leibnizstrasse. PLEASE NOTE that the reception opens Mon - Fri: 9 am to 5 pm and Sat - Sun: 9 am to 2 pm. A different arrival time can be arranged in advance.

"The website mentions public areas but we weren't aware that these would be closed after 17.00. Could you not put a shutter on the reception area so that the loung area (when finished) could be open to residents in the evening, perhaps with drinks machines in it? It was disappointing to find we couldn't meet up in the lounge before going out for dinner. We booked 4 studios but all had different contents - some had an iron, some didn't, the Splendia website said there would be DVD players but we didn't have any. One studio didn't even seem to have air-conditioning, and even with air-conditioning the rooms do get too warm. That said, the location was excellent and generally the apartments provided what we needed. We'd definitely consider using them again."
