@ Gallery Suites is housed in a 1933 heritage building on Hengshan Road (known during the early concession period as the “Champs Elysees of Shanghai”) which was once the apartment of a Russian Princess. This heritage building has been restored with its interiors fully refurbished and converted to a stylish Art Deco boutique hotel in the old French Concession of Shanghai.
@ Gallery Suites boasts 40 exquisite suites, all with size of over 50 square meters, and is a completely smoke-free boutique hotel. Combining the artistic talents of five celebrated designers/architects from both Hong Kong and Mainland China, the suites are a blend of modern Chinese designs and 1930´s Shanghai art deco highlights.
Location
The hotel is very close to the Xujiahui area, Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road, the thriving centres of business and commerce in the city. The Pudong International Airport is a 50-minute drive away and the Hongqiao Airport, a mere 15-minute car trip. For those who prefer a bit of exploration on foot, the metro line#1 "Heng Shan Road" subway station is a 3-minute walk from the property while the picturesque Xujiahui Park is just a couple of blocks away.
